We talk about “our history” and what we value as a “small town”.  Recognizing all the truths about our community’s history is important in leading us into the future together. 

This is why I have followed the ALACHUA County Truth and Reconciliation efforts and participated in a number of events

I was especially proud to be present when High Springs recognized the stories of five individuals that are part of our community’s truth.
