First Elected to City Commission in 2020
At the local level it is where we really can make a difference.
The community needs leaders that have diverse experience allowing them to be able to look at things from many perspectives and then choose in the public interest

Including technical director and managed upgrade to bathrooms and backstage area.2004-2020Appointed to City’s Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

Accomplished updating downtown street banners and gateway signs, as well as bench pads, upgrades to James Paul Park, new benches & lights in partnership with the City’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA)2008-2011Treasurer of High Springs Community Development Corporation

Advocated for SWAMPBOTS regarding grant funding to bring the first robotics program to Alachua County. Grant was awarded to High Springs and Alachua. The program has grown to six teams across three age groups in 2023 and competed and was awarded in national competition in California.2020-PresentFounding Board Member of Heart of High Springs
